For many people, chronic pain, fatigue, digestive issues, anxiety, grief, and other persistent symptoms become a frustrating cycle of appointments, treatments, and unanswered questions. They know something is wrong, but they often feel unheard, overwhelmed, or stuck.
Eliza Kerr helps people understand what may be driving their symptoms and discover a path toward healing. Drawing from more than 30 years of experience in Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, and neuroplastic recovery, she guides clients in understanding the powerful connection between the brain, nervous system, emotions, and physical body. Her work is especially valuable for those struggling with chronic pain, stress-related conditions, unexplained symptoms, or health challenges that have not fully responded to conventional approaches.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Eliza completed her clinical training at the California College of Ayurveda and has continued advanced study with internationally respected teachers including Dr. Vasant Lad, Richard Freeman, and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. She later expanded her work through specialized training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), studying directly with leading neuroplasticity experts Dr. Howard Schubiner and Dr. Mark Lumley.
Eliza’s path to healing work began with her own recovery journey. In her twenties, a catastrophic paragliding accident left her with severe injuries and years of physical challenges. That experience sparked a lifelong pursuit to understand how people heal—not only physically, but emotionally and neurologically as well. Through decades of study, practice, and personal experience, she developed an approach that blends ancient wisdom with modern neuroscience to help clients create meaningful and lasting change.
Based near Yosemite National Park since 1994, Eliza works with clients both in person and remotely. Her sessions are deeply individualized, helping clients identify patterns that may be contributing to their symptoms while building practical tools for recovery, resilience, and well-being.
Clients often describe feeling seen, understood, and hopeful after working with Eliza. As one client shared:
“My first session with Eliza was transformational. Her expert guidance, combined with her loving and gentle demeanor, helped me release decades-old repressed emotions and begin reprogramming my brain to heal chronic pain.“
Another client wrote:
“I’m still amazed at how much my mind influences everything about my body. Working with Eliza helped me almost completely eliminate the back pain I’d had for over 18 months. What a gift.”
Whether someone is navigating chronic pain, stress, grief, nervous system dysregulation, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of their health, Eliza’s goal is to help them reconnect with their innate capacity to heal and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and ease.
